Best thing to do IMO would speak to a head / engine builder and see what there honest thoughts would be.

They can be a total paint to get out as its full on door card off. I had mine out once and then the second time I made a dogs dinner of it and had to get my specialist to sort it for me.

Found a website that is selling a pile load of genuine Renault parts and these ball joints came up for crazy cheap in Euros. Do you think it's worth a shot ? Its all genuine OE Renault items it sells with Renault boxing and OE Part numbers. For 2 of each (Both Sides) im €70 (Around £60)
