Defo have a drive of a cup packed clio and a non cup pack clio (if you can find one!!)
My first 200 had the cup pack and was just too harsh and uncomfortable for me so got changed for a 200 without the cup pack ;/
I am 26 with 4 years NCB and paying approx £600.00 for the 200 (this is on a multicar policy with Admiral)
Funnily enough I just had my renewal through for my 100 bhp van with 6 years NCB = £714.00!!!!
Luckily not had too many issues - however 2600 miles in 10 months might have something to do with that ;/
I do find that if you are 'making progress' down a dual carriageway people do tend to move over to let me pass (I'm not always coming up behind them at 6000 rpm either!!)
How about a shorter ratio gear box for gears 1-4/5 (or just more power :bounce:) then a really long 5/6th so you go like stink when you want to but when cruising negate the need to have a V power tanker following you!!
When working out fuel consumption the manual way I averaged 29 MPG in 2011.
It won't be better this year as I am doing more short journey's :001_rolleyes:
Yep non cup is still amazing in the twisties but soaks up the bumps nicely.
The cup pack does make the car more intuitive to drive and look better due to the lower ride height.
Interesting to note that a lot of these positive comments are coming from 197owners with a 'non cup' set up which is a postive for me seeing as I couldn't live with the cup packed 200 so I now have a standard 200.
Bring on the corners
Foxspeed - why the possible change back to the 197 diffuser?
And Fernandez - sorry if this has been covered but what is this about you and carbon??
As for me and the 200.
Refurb my kerbed left rear alloy which I only had painted less than 2 months ago
