howd you manage with the "self adhesive" ? When i did mine it was all cleaned up with no mess from the last seal but they just do not seem to stick well at all.

These things cost £8 from Renault and you fit them yourself, probably not worth a group buy. If fitting properly, Renault charge around £100. Might seem a lot but when you've fitted it...you'll soon realise why. All the sticky crud left by your old seals is hard to fully remove without removing...

I wear my smug face when ever I drive past a Clio without the cup spoiler. It is the be all, and end all addition to have, go for it...just remember to get yourself a really short stubby aerial so it doesn't touch when you pop the boot lid :-)

hmm dont know if i dare put this on a forum.... i had exactly the same, Renault charged me (gulp) £300.00 and changed the "shocker top bearing"....what ever that is....and the noise has since gone.

Im curious too as mine needs doing on the right side. Local Renault garage quoted me £100ish for a new unit as apparantly the "bulb cant be changed". Anyone else smell that...?
