I think this is a fair test to be honest. There both new cars for a start. I no the VXR is an older model but they are both similar. The corsa has a proper diff vs renaults below standard electronic one. But the clio has faster gear changes and a paddle box which is more personal preference but...

If your not racing the 197 etc then there really is no point. I've got one but only coz i run boost. Whats the car used for mate? I cant really see any gains to be had unless your searching for over 300bhp?

r32 for me, none of these have great mpg's, my mates mk5 r32 returns more that a mk3 clio. The r32's arnt the quickest, but they are great to drive and are overall a much better built car and nicer to love with. And in winter weather you'll feel untouchable lol! It mpg is a worry, then look at...
