    "Cheryls" Progress Thread. Updated 18/06/2010

Aron spoke to k-tec today, good news is the spoiler has been dispatched and should be with me today :panic: bad news is the spoiler doesn't come with the STD endplates. I was quite annoyed by this really, as if I had known I probably wouldn't have paid all that extra for the carbon end trims!

The componant speakers are comprised of the door speakers and tweeters where as the coaxials are just the matched pair in the rear. I'm afraid I'm not sure which connection you mean, photo?

    Replacing a few things internally

Front speakers are 5.25" or 13cm componant. Rear are 5.25" or 13cm coaxial. However, I have the cup to and you will find when you take the rear covers off there isn't much depth. So when looking for speakers try find some without the large magnet on the back or you will have a job on your hands...

Damaged repaired 197 project, now with kw's, spacers and splitter:-)

Yes fuel consumption isn't the best, but I knew that buying the car. I suppose it's what you get from a n/a engine that only comes to life between 5k-7.5k rpm. I average about 25mpg, however I find even if I floor it, short shift at about 5.5-6k rpm and fuel consumption goes down to about...

Nice work mate! I'm glad somebody is giving the 197 the care and attention it deserves. Bet that rear 1/4 panel was a b*****d to fit. Doesn't it require welding to body? Good effort though, you can't tell any difference, good as new!
