They will never say its a known issue, they add the revised snycro in the gearbox. So its not a new box. Even on the official Renault Forum they always keep quiet when it comes to the "gearbox problem" And each Renault Dealer is different, sometimes you find a good dealer that is willing...

I have been told to give the brakes a good thrashing every so often as they cam glaze over... After ktec done this for me as I said they were abit soft. I could feel the difference

The only thing that really worrys me on the 197 / 200 is the gearbox. And normally the lack of support from Renault when they do go. If your in warranty you normally ok. Outside of warranty, good luck...

My car went into a Renault Dealer, one that is supposed to be a "Renault-sport specialist" It was still under warranty, I had the Cam-belt changed under warranty. And i paid for the Aux belt etc to be done at the same time.. I have had so many problems with this Dealership. But, I trusted...
