I used Toyo R1-r's and they were fantastic. Can be had for reasonable prices too, same compound as the old R-888 but with more grooves and more tread depth to start with.
You need an amp for them speakers, lucky if your head unit is putting out 50w rms per channel. I'd do it soon too as you can damage the speakers by severely underpowering them.
Entry speed potentially too high.
Braking mid corner hasn't helped if you did.
If you're going to drive fast, find somewhere safe and learn the lift-off oversteer characteristics of your car. It could have saved you there.
