There's a Clio round the corner from me that has number 2 fitted (along with some 106 Rallye style white painted steelies!). Don't look too bad on the car.
Wasn't you, Steve, it was the other guy who traded the R32 in.
Dunno what I'm doing with the car right now. Missus wants me to get rid but doesn't think I should spend any more money. Buying an older, not-so-good car doesn't appeal much! :'(
Not expecting a reply to this as it never happens, but I went to Trowbridge last night and saw an Albi 197, a white 200 and a silver 200, all in about a mile!
Some very patronising replies in this thread btw. The OP has already mentioned owning a GTI and the Clio is hardly an F1 car in comparison, is it?! :001_rolleyes:
Looks like you're only missing the seats (apart from the stickers) and they're no great loss, as the standard ones are great. Looks smashing clean, must get out and do mine!
Shittylink are the worst. I've had lots of refunds (and even £110 compo) because they've failed to deliver stuff on the correct day. John Lewis use them for their flower deliveries and if I spend 40 notes on some flowers for my missus' birthday and they arrive 3 days late it ain't much good to...
The 87 is the load index. This figure relates to the corner weight of the vehicle. The higher the number, the heavier the car the tyre will support. In other words - A higher number usually equals stiffer sidewalls.
I love mine too, I just find it a little one-dimensional. I only really like it when I'm driving it in maximum attack mode and you can't do that all the time. When you're on a straight bit of motorway or stuck in traffic it suddenly becomes rather tiresome with its low gearing, dronesome exhaust...
