You are in the wrong. Tailgaters are much worse than lane sitters in my book. What gives you the right to be in front of them? Do that to me and you'll soon find yourself doing 30 in the outside lane coz I take my foot off the gas when some asshole is trying to crawl up my tailpipes!

Subtle differences? Like they've sawn off the tips from a 197 exhaust perhaps? Piper did the right thing and just made the tips interchangeable. One size fits all!

Mine was worse in warmer weather. Definitely did it more in the summer months.

I used to hate the way the standard exhaust droned at around 3300-3500rpm and quite often drove in 5th gear instead of 6th just to get rid of it!

BTW, my only other options were the Alfa 159 3.2 and the Audi S4 4.2, as I wanted naturally aspirated and 4WD. They were discounted for being dull sounding and too expensive to fix respectively.

Mine's done 26K and there's barely a mark on the paint, but it could've had a complete respray for all I know! LOL As for getting blown away by lesser motors, I don't rise to racing with them, I drive a grown-up's car now! :clap:

There's a little valve on the airbox and it's this that makes the noise. Appears to open a second inlet to the airbox as far as I could tell when I looked at it.

Does it have a road outside?

My missus hated the Clio and never once drove it. I took her off my insurance after the first year.

Get it all the way up and hold the up button for 10-15 secs. Cured it on mine.

I like the way the crease on the flank swoops round the door handle on the Astra. Looks a million dollars compared to the 250 with its stuck on bodykit.
