That's a pretty good mod to the throttle body. And I can assure you is not a placebo effect, people here in Spain have done that and they say if feels way better. Even tough I like the idea, I went a step (or two) further and bought this...

Mine always comes off in a couple of places, and it just clips in.

Boxster, it applies to all the range of Clio Sport with a DBW TB ;) The guinea pig would be me, but there's more people in Spain that have done it, and I should meet them in a short while so I can chat to them and have a ride in their cars so I can comment a little bit more.

I have one question. The "blanket" that is behind the dash (the one that looks brownish in the picure), how much it weights? I am thinking about taking it out in my 197 if it weights enough, and in that picture looks pretty much the same as in the 197.

I found that coaxials are "whiney" (don't even know if that word exists), even setting it up in the radio. I find out 2 way coaxials are way better in that.

Really easy, you just pull the whole vent off and then you have some tabs that you pull up with a screwdriver. The only thing that you have to take in account is that the silver of the vent surrounds used in normal renaults is not like the silver that the clio sport has in the center console.

I was going to put those pictures yesterday as I saw those exact pictures on my local forum, and I think the car looks awesome with that colour.

Cup racers don't use either of them, they use the standard sump and standard fuel system, so I think it's not neccesary to have them fitted to a road car that sometimes goes to track.

The thing is that they could have imported the cars from the UK instead of any other country of europe, but maybe there's some restrictions regarding that. It also is true that, in Japan, even if they drive in the other side of the road (or the same as you, or the "wrong" or the "right":-p)...

That's a tiny hole for the air intake!

You have to bore out a little bit the holes of the TB but apart from that, yes, is a direct fit. The only problem thaqt you will find with it is that the intake plenum, where it meets the TB, is a little less than 65 mm, and that part of the TB is 70 mm. So you will have to match it like the 2...
