GT5 has been out for a couple of months now so I was wondering how far people have got through the game. I'm addicted to it and I've managed to get to the brink of level 33 A-Spec thanks to sleepless nights with a new baby :D Has anybody got to the magic level 40 yet???

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread but has anybody done this since the last post in Sept '09? It's something I'm thinking of doing but I don't want to fork out for parts if it's a no go.

You can't go wrong with an old Fiesta. Mine cost £750 and it never misses a beat. I've been to London in it several times and the lot!

There are some nice touches, sadly they didn't do such a good job with the wiper arms fouling the bonnet if you lift them off the screen

The rear speakers are optional only aren't they? I had to buy some for mine. All the wiring is in place ready though. You just need speakers and to make the job easier cable/plug jobbies - dead easy to find on ebay for a couple of quid or so delivered.

Me and the mrs are in the process of looking at new houses and one must have is a garage. I've got the dimensions of the 197 from the brochure but I would be interested to know how wide a garage I would need for the car not only to fit inside but to be able to get in and out of the drivers...

Sounds like the dreaded radio fault to me. Had mine swapped under warranty last winter. The radio cd doesn't turn on when the temperature drops below a certain level, it then has a knock on effect that it starts to drain the battery more quickly than it would if it was working normally. I'm...

Google Metal Magic. They are based in Dodworth, Barnsley and their work is both top notch and reasonably priced. I had all 4 of mine powder coated by them and the finish is far superior to how they left the factory.

I got it yesterday but have only had chance to do the first couple of tasks on the licences (on the Top Gear test track and Tokyo). Looks like it's going to be bloody good though. It will be getting some stick at the weekend!

I agree with ben_r1, no matter how much I try I can't get to like the styling of the 200. I know this will offend some but I think the new lights and front bumper are ugly and I think the 200's diffuser doesn't look right in gloss black. Strangley though, I think Black 200's look alright but...

Nimbus Grey 197 reg J3 FVW - it's a weekend car though so the chances of having seen it knocking about are minimal!
