I'm not either, that's why I bought the Clio but I like the philosophy behind it i.e. they did not fit 285/35-18 tyres on the rear because they'll need 500bhp to break traction and when they do you're gonna end up in a tree! Fitting smaller tyres allows you to reach the edge of traction...

it's not about lap times, it's about being able to drive at 10/10ths and still have fun. This is the philosophy that the Toyota 86 is based on and I agree with it. The Clio is similar.

I had this as well and removed my ABS sensors for a clean but no difference. I really think that because the chassis is fairly stiff that any uneven roads tend to lift the wheels losing traction fairly easily

Thanks. Can I also ask... after a polish and wax the car is obviously clean and looks great but I feel the colour doesn't look as 'deep' and glossy as I would like. Is this just the polish I'm using or am I just being OCD? I haven't tried any other products other than Maguires to be honest and...

I've had the car for 2 weeks now and washed it for the first time yesterday. I use Maguires deep crystal car wash, then polished using Maguires deep crystal polish and then finished off with NXT wax. Obviously it's raining today so when I give it a wash at the weekend would I just wash and dry...

Cheaper than having some dumbass in a 4x4 with 8 kids squeeze in next to you and put dents all over your car. 25 pounds well spent in my view! LOL
