    Sprint Hillclimb 197

Disc hat appears to be much shallower on the V6 discs compared to the 197 discs. PCD can be redrilled at home, there isn't a big difference between the two and i'm sure you'd be able to find the disc spigot ring for the centre bore on eBay.

    Oil temp range

That is excellent mate, thanks so much for that! Definitely useful even though your meg’d. I may see slightly lower temps as I’m N/A but if not, your temp range is spot on for what I need :thumb:

    Oil temp range

Is anyone with oil temp gauges able to state what sort of temperature readings they are getting during: -Fast road driving -Track Max temperatures would be great, average even better but not necessary. TIA

INFO: Retaining stalk controls and OEM display

Does the display not work as in it doesn't show anything, or as in it doesn't show any track information? If it's the latter, it's probably because your headunit doesn't support the sub-out option which displays track info. From what I can remember, it was only a feature in high-end Alpine units.

    Clio 4 Wheel on a 197

I've began to look into this too as I prefer the MK4 wheel but haven't found much information yet. Happy to be corrected, but knowing how much Renault like to recycle bits in the parts bin, I assumed that the connectors would be the same as the MK3 and it would close to a plug and play swap.

    Cup vs Non cup?

You can always retrofit cup suspension if you can buy a non-cup car cheap enough. Mileage shouldn't be an issue as long as it's been serviced and repairs carried out as needed. Just to clarify are you after another 200 or 197?

    Eila spoiler removal hard ?

I'd personally wait until you've got the kit fitted as you may end up liking it. The only car I can think of with the RS kit + sprint spoiler is @Big Ben's 197 which looks ace.

    Eila spoiler removal hard ?

Would it not be easier just to swap boot lids? There's always people who would be happy to do so with cash your way.

    K20 my Clio

Seems a good idea but how much is the drivetrain as I know EP3s are climbing in price.

    Time for new calipers?

If they are working fine and the seals are in good condition, leave them be. No need to do anything to them unless the aesthetics bother you, in which case clean and repaint them as Foxspeed said.

    Joe's LY Clio 200

Just wait for the pops and bangs once you change the manifold, will have you grinning on every drive no matter how boring, if you’re into that! Makes me miss my old one sometimes, but motorways are no longer deafening.

    197: Birch down auto services

Sorry to hear that. It’s not just how well a garage does work that matters, but also how they treat customers afterwards or when things go wrong. I sent them an email to get a quote (which was just a formality as I would have booked in with them anyway) and they never got back to me. It was a...

    Rust on clio chassis

This was back in around September/October last year, I remember Mick telling me as I had my powder-coated one fitted. Not sure if Brexit has made any difference since then?
