N0ddie is 100% correct. Green IS the best colour 200 (not including white, which is obvious). But that goes without saying.

The last time I checked the RS site, Green wasn't an option.

I worked it out to be £19,000 - and the final payment was only a rough estimate so nothing written in stone. I don't think it's too bad a deal, 100,000 mile/4 years warranty, 4 years servicing and 4 years breakdown cover. Guessing the servicing would've been around £200 a pop, and the breakdown...

I would consider the aesthetics of the vehicle, too. As the nose is different between the 197 & 200, and some other minor details. What is it you're really interested in about the cars? What's more important, budget, warranty etc?

Fairly pointless (IMO) comparison but throws in a few compliments to the 200. Interest point on the pricing of the Raider trim which totally negates the point of the 200, but a good read nevertheless. Have no idea where or what the 4 stars relates to...

Option for an auto with paddles. Would make achieving the 0-62 time easier. Smaller CC engine with supercharger and turbo (e.g. new Polo, new Vrs etc).

My Aygo does 400 miles on a 35 litre tank. :thumbup: By that calculation, I'd get 630 out of a tank that is the same size as the Clio's. Not quite as fun as the Clio though, may I add.

As obvious the opinion might be, we are all of the thinking (or mostly, should I say) that the Clio 197/200 is our favourite and highly considered best hot hatch. However, if one were so inclined to not go down the Renault route - for whatever reason - what other hot hatch would you suggest...

Quite a different beast altogether, however there's been a few occasions where the Ford Focus RS Mk2 has been compared against the Renault Sport Clio 200. I think I recall a comparison between the Focus RS 500 against the Clio 200, and the Clio was still hailed a champion in its own right.

Say they did show off the next RS Clio this year, what would be the likely hood of it being released in 2012?
