Could be the clutch? Try selecting another gear first like 4th then put it into 1st. We have an old vehicle at work that wont select 1st but if you put it into 3rd or 4th first it goes into 1st ok.

yes if i remember it was a white car and i think they had painted the end plates white? looked good the way they had done it.

Its a 5 min job mate, just unscrew the end caps off and paint away! I think they finish it off and match the Brembo's

thanks, I did it when I 1st got the car, it looked unfinished so I used a spare red touch up pen just to see what it would look like. (never got round to doing it properly so close up its a little scruffy)
