It was just some red touch up paint i had from years ago, only did it to see what it looked like. Looked ok so i kept it.

Never noticed, never sat on that side of the car. Im sure there are lots of little things wrong with the clio's if you look for them, the French are not the best for built quality. IMO buy German if you want the quality (which is what i would do if i had the money)

Are you sure it is coming from the front? I have same noise but it is N/S rear. Mine only started about a week or so ago.

Me too, force of habbit, ive always pressed the clutch down to start any car ive driven.

Dont see why it should, you are not tied to Stratsone in any contract. (ie they dont have to do every bit of work on the car)
