Same symptoms as you've described never relie felt much different but I drove with the damaged shock for about 8 months so may have got used to it, i think a top mount is around £50 which is amazing considering its almost completely made of plastic!

Read it wrong shock is m12 droplink is m8 I think, (not 100%) might be worth getting a selection as you might aswel replace the anti-rotation link one aswel m10

I wouldn't listen to the indicator on the dash at all I used to as I was lazy and before a trip on track I decided to check it for real and found it below min (only just) but according to the dash I had only lost one of the marks seems a very reliable system, anyone else noticed this?

Correct on both points, quite easy to do its all screws and few clips (have to pull fog surrounds off) and split the blade from its support structure
