Where has the thread gone about what people have had done on warrenty? Have I seen somewhere someone having alloys redone at nearly 3 years old? Also what else should you look for on a three year old Clio 197? How much is the 3rd year service? Cheers Hughsie

Was travelling down the M6 from Chorley the other week and spotted a Clio 197 with a thick white stripe over it and it was edged in black. If I remember it had a rear cage aswell. It passed and the lad acknowledged me. Certainly looked different and quite striking. Just wondering is it anyone...

Do I officially hold the title then of highest MPG ever recorded in a Clio 197? Haha! Same Journey this weekend and after a week of running the car around the reading is showing 36.3mpg...has someone put a diesal engine in when I wasnt looking?

After owning the Clio for 2 years now I decided it was time to start using it a little more so a when I headed to London I thought I'd see what MPG I could average. Now on previous long motorway trips its averaged 34mpg at best but this time it hit 39.2mpg....I couldnt stop laughing! haha...

The track has been soaked to make it mega slippy but JR is a pure legend. Do a search for him rallying the original Clio Maxi....now that will open your eyes to how to put a car inch perfect on the road and sideways!

Ok my Clio has the bluetooth hands free kit fitted and I just bought a new phone - Nokia 6700 slide. I have connected it to the car system and set the phone up but when I go into the contacts setting on the car it says empty??? Anyone got any ideas? Is it because the phone is much newer...

Well my Clio has been booked in with the lads at Birchdown so will let you know what I think....already though they sound a helpful bunch so should be good!

Birchdown say on there website it wont affect warrenty so I'll be on the phone Tuesday and getting it booked in :) Cheers for comments. Hughsie

Can Birchdown alter the dash service light and check for errors on the system?

Right then my Clio 197 is due its second service - its only done 11k! I've rang Renault in Chester and they want £247 for the 2nd service which I find a joke considering its an oil change and that about it.....so what do I do? I've heard good things about Birchdown so thinking of taking it...
