Apple will replace the phone for a cost, I think it was £149 when I had mine done, or something. They just won't obviously do it for free like they would if a button had snapped off or something.

The new iPhone 5's screens are easier to replace than the 4's, so i *believe* they can now replace them in-store. The screens come away from the phone, and the "phone" is in the back, whereas it was the other way around in the 4.

Obviously, but the G55 team I was with last year had one of these go off in the car due to some kind of malfunction in the system. I wouldn't want to be in the car with it on the road anyway.

Having a proper fire extinguisher system in a road car is just suicide. When you accidentally set those things off its horrific.

Just had a thought, the teams will possibly offering drives on a weekend-by-weekend basis, where you just pay for the weekend to use their car and equipment. Could be worth the entertainment for a one-off. I might contact them and see how much it is.
