Can you not get the xenon units and fit hid kits with D2S fittings? I think the levelling motor can be from your old units to make them manual level. D2S bulbs are better performance from what I found.

It was more of other cars having more bop/tonne. There's nothing I can do to go faster than a itb Clio or turbo cars.

I also ran standard on my 197 and it was fine. It speaks for itself when I loose out to cars on straight and gain under braking. What I'm getting at is sometimes you need to learn to drive to the differences of each car.

Maybe try adapting your driving style? It's not a dig but maybe there is something new to be learnt about braking? I ran standards on my 200 for many trackdays and never had a problem. I was also a late braker compared to other clios especially at brands compared to a 200 with floating discs.

First one for sure. As for mileage, mine was 1 yr 6mth with 22k on when I sold it. It was tracked regularly but ran beautifully. You'd find owners who track their cars keep a close eye on its condition. Fluids changed regularly and brakes serviced.
