    Advice please :) waxin

As per above. Get the paint as clean as possible first and it will look better and last longer. The general rule of thumb is that the top layer will only really last MAX as long as the layer below. So if you use a wax and then sealant, the sealant will 'drop off' as soon as the wax does...

Iron X is a good step to do man. I though it would be worse but seeing as all that white on the trim (compound residue) I guess a lot of is was polished out. That's why if you're using certain compounds/polishes, it's best to tape up the trims :)

Added a few pics of the process. I'll have a go at getting some proper pics this weekend. Also, I filled in the curb marks on the wheels with matt black paint just to hide the silver until they get refurb'd.

    Colour choice of wheels

For a track car it would be great but may be a bit too much for the road. Satin or gloss black would look stylish :)

;) Thanks everyone! I'm not sold on the side skirts really...who knows. I know the plan is carbon splitter on the front eventually and maybe bonnet if I can stretch to it. The spoiler is a MUST. Once I've sorted out the cosmetics and mechanics of what's on it now, then I'll start chasing...
