Got the gearbox off yesterday - surprisingly easy job in all honesty. Easier on the floor than using the pit too. Box has been dropped with DT Autowerx in Chesterfield last night for fitting new synchros and the LSD. Quite excited now! Looking forward to seeing what the crack is and seeing...

I'll be honest the only thing that makes me nervous with this is that some of the subframe bolts look angry. Does anyone know where I could buy replacements incase the worst happens?

Plan would be to do it on the floor Nathan. I don't have access to a ramp sadly and using the pit would be more difficult I think.

Plan is to drop the box myself then drive it over to DT Werx for them to do the work on the box itself. Do you / Ethan have a guide on dropping the subframe?

Just a quick update: Gearbox parts for rebuild arrived earlier this week - box will come out at some point over the next 2/3 weeks once lighting in the garage has been sorted. Bought some fairly new Dunlops from Tyretek this morning to go on the X85's. Might get the wells refurbed before...
