Did my first track day in the dry in the clio on Monday at brands hatch. It was awesome car was lapping so well all day, did around 140 laps and managed to get my laps down to around 1.01 1.02. New seat really helped to hold me in and the new low driving position makes you feel like your driving...

Definetly get the geo checked before going on track, as soon as I put mine on v1s I had the geo done. By eye it looked good on paper it didn't toe was all over the place, camber wasent for off though.

A s**t load I replaced my drivers seat for a corbeau pro series bucket seat, corbeau seat 6kg recaro atleast 25-30kg!

Looks good, good luck lowering the original recaros, I looked in to it then ended up buying a corbeau pro series bucket seat instead.

Right i finally got my new seat fitted on friday. Took a lot more than i originally anticipated to get it to fit. I was hoping it was going to be a simple unbolt the original, plug in the recaro airbag resistor, bolt in the harnesses and then bolt the new seat in. :nope: This was not the...

Would also like to know the answer to this, I removed my recaro seat yesterday and fitted a bucket and now have the airbag light on. I did by the recaro airbag delete kit from capital seating but was no good, none of the plugs fit.

Its only a bad idea if you crash!

Once I've got it all fitted ill update, and hopefully put a how to together. Should be fitting tomorrow weather permitting :D
