    Stud / Nut Conversion

Use high temp stud lock when fitting the studs We used TRS nuts, with the lengths quoted you will get a couple of threads visible when the nut is tight

Dumb brake disk Q. Are these on the correct way?

As above it’s all to do with the disc internal vanes, if they are curved then they need to be mounted like this http://www.apracing.com/Info.aspx?InfoID=75&ProductID=30 If they are straight I would mount them as you have done

    Goodyear tyres, 2 or 3?

If it were me I'd go 3's Just a thought, Chris was running conti 5's which he rated. For timeattack he had to run Pirelli so he bought P zeros to use as wets and I must say these were very good on track and road in both wet and dry conditions

    Hi London remapping

Are you planning any future upgrades I.e. exhaust / induction kit ? If you are maybe get them done first. As for mapping I would drive to RST or EFI (both not local). There’s also Ktec (I’ve not used these) that are closer

Personally unless you are spending hours tweeking suspension I don't see that adjustable drop links are necessary You mention pre-load when lowered - I may be being daft here (its an age thing) but if both drop links are the same length there would be no pre-load ! Please correct me if I'm wrong

    Track pads

The ones that have given us the least disk issues are Pagid RS29's Running D1.11's at the moment and they seem ok PBS pads were next on the list - as used by the Civic racers and as above they are cheap compared to the others

    My new race car.

We've been using Pagid RS29's and now trying DS1.11's Looks like the DS's have lasted one track day at Donington !! But they performed well. If we hadn't got rid of the MK3 we were going to try the PBS race pads in the brembo
