106 diesel 1.5 non turbo. Cheap, basic, slow as hell and crazy good on fuel.

I think your at the top of your game with regards of performance car Value for Money. If you were willing to pay out more then a Mk2 focus Rs. Older porsche Cayman maybe if you want to spend less?

The Clio's arent bad on a run. Even with a bit of weight in them. 35-38 depending on how clear the traffic is. Consistency.

That second pic is looking directly at the clips to take the airbox lid off. It's a very simple design. You can see that the 'push in' big clips are on the side, there's only one on each side. Push them in, the rectangle lid will then just come off, the filter is just a pull down with ease...

I wouldn't advise anyone on what to do. It totally depends on what your after. The 225 width sits nice on the 8j Speedlines.
