Considering you can buy a 2010 Meg 250 with a cup chasis for under <9k now I wouldn't even be considering doing this to the Clio. Your Clio is still relatively new too, with just 20k on it, seems daft to ruin it. The time, effort and money, when you can just sell your Clio for what a meg...

I'd be going for Bilsteins personally

As everyone else has said, they'll be no use to you unfortunately. The standard pads would suit your needs much better. The standards will have a better cold peddle feel and probably work better at the temps you'll be at. Save your money.

Wouldn't worry about it. It's known to be normal for these boxes.

What type of noise is it? Actually tappets tapping noise or like a rattle noise from the cam pulley area?

Not sure if the dephaser is known for going noisy on these like the 172/182..?

For the road I'd just use the standard pressures to start, then drop them slightly as you get mileage on them and get comfortable. You wont really get much heat in them on the road to worry about pressures, unless your going for a dedicated blast. Its more so on the track where they come...
