Over the last 2000 miles I have average 29.8mpg. A little long distance driving but mostly b roads and city commuting. The shift light is used regularly ;)

Megane would be a good compromise, fun of the clio but more refined and powerful.

But what would be the difference to the air being sucked in from the open cone to the hot air being sucked in from the closed. Temps arnt going to change drastically. I doubt there is much in it between the two. Would be interesting to see a side by side using the same car and dyno.
