Recently changed my thermostat for a 182 item and overall I am really happy with it. The car gets up to temp really quick and the gauge site bang in the middle. Have noticed the fan runs a lot more often now though and was wondering if anyone has changed the fan switch for a higher temp one?

What makes you think the 200 ones haven't cracked because of failed engine mounts? The engine mounts on these cars are awful especially the lower one

Yeah I saw that but it's a lot of work for a small gain, not worth it on a road car IMHO

The renault one cracks because of failing engine mounts, it's actually a pretty decent design

dont they usually mig them together then tig over the top to make it look good, you may be right but personally for £200 i just cant see them being very good quality

my flexi's failed a while ago and i went through this whole dilemma, in the end i got my manifold removed and repaired with new flexi's by a local garage as i couldn't be done with the hassle of doing it myself on the floor, was under £300 all in. I decided against the toyosports manifold...

i dont really see the point of a cup with aircon, it wont really be any lighter than a full fat with the cup chassis and you will lose the better dash, cruise control, keyless entry etc etc

i never really understand the comments about lack of power and low down torque with the 197/200, my previous car was a 300bhp+ classic impreza and i have never thought my 197 was slow, the chassis is so good that it can no doubt handle more power but for me its the perfect blend of power and...

Which option do you select at time of order? I assume it must be the clio 3 rs but what does the CRxx refer to?

I bought mtech black edition dimpled and grooved, under £100 delivered and seem fine so far, haven't tried them on decent pads yet though

My car has done 55k and I have just replaced all discs, pads, fluid and hoses, the front pins were a nightmare to remove as they were completely seized. I will be stripping and servicing the calipers every year from now on

Yeah and I was considering a 996 or an e46 m3 before I bought the clio, trouble is 10k will buy it but you can easily rack up some big bills on repairs and maintenance
