    Nicole.R - 01.02.2014 *SOLD*...

Hahaha you know what mate you actually can!!! :D Depending on how you set the tabs you could alter the tone as well as the volume, simply by changing how many or the angle you fold them in at!!!

    Nicole.R - 01.02.2014 *SOLD*...

It's noticable mate yeah, idle is a little quieter but not loads however when going up through the revs (at standstill) it has taken a lot out of it. It's still loud but the tone is a lot softer so it feels quieter when you're next to it if that makes sense? DB isn't always about the physical...

    Modified cars hard to sell?

I never go into a project worrying what anybody else thinks about the parts I use or the reasons behind them. But, when looking to buy a car, I'd always buy standard before modified unless the car in question was already carrying parts I'd have bought anyway!!! :D

    Nicole.R - 01.02.2014 *SOLD*...

And here's how it looks/works, the simplicity of it is brilliant... 1; Exhaust... 2; DB Killer/Splitter... 3; Fold in the tabs as desired... 4; Insert into exhaust, note it's not as much of a blockage as a traditional bung/baffle... 5; And from further away it looks like this, a...

Geneva 2014 - New RS Clio variant planned

Going off recent form it'll be no more powerful but it'll have a ''unique'' paint colour option. Yawn. God, I hope I'm wrong...

    Speeding Offence appeal.

Glad you didn't get the points mate but I'd blur the case reference number out on the letter or move your fingers slightly to obscure it. You never know who's peeping on here. ;)

30 January 2014; PTR Exhausts; Purchased DB Killer/Splitter. Ok so whilst I'm still not convinced that Nicole is THAT loud (again, thems makes the rules so we must comply...), I've picked up a little trinket from Pete at PTR Exhausts. Pete has been around a long time and has been responsible...

    144mph FRS & Evo

Being driven hard isn't an issue, much like buying a car that had been used for trackdays wouldn't bother me. More the servicing side of things etc..

    144mph FRS & Evo

Geniunely thinking of buying the Evo to be honest, but I'm dubious as to how well it'll have been looked after...

My Clio isn't a drag car.

I read it thanks Jay, fully understood that your 150lbFt car is being outdragged by diesel cars with more torque and that they can achieve that at low engine speeds whilst you're still waiting for your engine to wake up and join the party. I think it's you who hasn't understood what the car is...

My Clio isn't a drag car.

Whipped again I'm going to sum all of this up quite quickly. 1; You bought the wrong car. 2; Traffic light GP's are for 17 year olds. 3; You're asking the Clio to do something it wasn't designed for. I'm out, better things to do and more interesting stuff to read.

Nicole.R - 15.01.2014 *280BHP/310lbFt*... Plan X is far cheaper than that, cable tie an unconnected tailpipe under the diffuser. Now considering they did originally try and take the reading from a hole that clearly didn't contain a tailpipe, I'm quite confident that that would probably work...

And there we have Plan X, the decoy tailpipe. ;)

    Nicole.R - 01.02.2014 *SOLD*...

Plans are underway don't worry, if the post is kind this week then I'll have her tested again this weekend. I had a few options in the pipeline already (no pun intended) should this be the case anyway and I've ordered one of them today. It's removable and also adjustable, so if it gets her...

Nicole.R - 15.01.2014 *280BHP/310lbFt*... Well it was hard to tell how much louder she was over the old engine and exhaust setup, thought she might sneak under but it works out at about 10DB extra. Really she only has to drop 2DB which isn't a lot at all. There's a few different ways of doing...

25 January 2014; Oulton Park; Soundtest to see if she meets trackday compliance. Annnnnd... No. No she doesnt!!! As most people know the majority of tracks (or at least the ones I've any interest in attending) run a maximum 105DB static soundtest. Nicole rumbled in at 107DB @ 5,000RPM!!! Now...
