Had rainsport 3’s on my 172 road wheels and they were fine. All depends how you intend on driving tbh. Yes an all season tyre will offer much better grip than a summer tyre but summers are fine as long as you drive appropriately for the conditions

Thank you all very much. Seems like a friendly enough place and great to see so many older guys too. I’m not overwhelmed by the 197 so far. Handling is fine but power is a bit meh. I don’t think it’s any quicker than my 172 at all. Not a lover of the gearbox. Suspect I’ll go r26 box. Nice car...
