Lock the whole car if the keypad battery runs out??? Parked on a multi story today and when out the car tried to lock it but no joy. Couldn't start it either and got the 'card not detected' message...so guessed the battery had gone... But how the hell can you then leave the car locked to...

Renault do not want to replace seats/covers for wear and tear if they can help it... and it's annoying. I was told this by more than one person at Renault (That's Ren UK, Renault Warranty and the dealer) - that they are now getting tighter on what they replace and every seat is inspected...

I've heard that the 200 is prone to being knocked out alignment quite often. Dunno if its to do with the susp setup and electric rack...heard that the cup susp cars suffer the most due to the impact from our roads coupled with the stiff set up.

I'm really interested to know what exactly is the syncro problem? Can you enlighten us all? Is it just premeature wear or poor build quality? Design fault? And... When replacing them are Renault using a new designed part or just the same syncros again.?

Looking through my Renault dialogys and manuals it doesn't state which clio's have this - do all/any 197/200's have this?? I know that the image of the car and four tyres on the dash display would show the fault, and that the system works using electronic pressure valves that send a signal...
