Hahaha cheers mate! I'm actually looking forward to the DSG, a lot of people slate it as its not 'proper driving'. The way I see it is that if it gets me to my location faster then I'm not bothered :smile: Paddles are a bit of a gimmick I suppose but no doubt I'll use them!

I did consider it mate but the calling of German metal was just too much, I've done fast french now just felt it was time to move on. The ed30 ticks every box I need it to and more really and it was just a gut feeling!
 
The modding has already begun and I haven't even picked it up yet! Pressed plates and interior/reg plate LED's ordered... its all downhill from here...

Will do mate, I should be doing most of the shows i.e Trax and stuff if you are there? It should be mapped by then too... DAT TORQUE DOE
 
Will have a look see if I can make anything like how fast mate, shouldn't be an issue! Need to take mine up the pod though want to see what it runs before and after map!
 
New car looks nice, driven an ED30 at work with a manual box that had been mapped and my god it shifted! DSG should do you well, I never had any problems with my last car with DSG, just got bored after a while of it taking the fun out of a spirited drive as they make it so simple to drive quickly.

You trading in your Clio with all of your mods on? [/vulture] :innocent:
 
So today I picked up 'eddy' the edition 30! All I can say is WOW. The torque seems to be never ending even as a standard car, so smooth in comparison to the clio and before you know it your heading towards triple figures! Dsg is unreal; hard to get used to at first with a spot of accidental left foot braking hahahah.

All in all, an absolute beast. Will throw some pictures up tomorrow!!!
 
Iv nearly had my ed30 2 years if you think it's good now wait till stage 1 :hug:
I'm also dsg and currently running 350bhp and 351 lb torque.
