little update so heres how far we've got so far after picking her up we got her in the workshop for a good clean up plenty of grime so well worth the effort !! next it was off with the bumper and arch liners out to remove all the grills for painting - also rear diffuser and...

nothing for a week or two buddy no - the grills etc have been away being painted so she's just been sat with no bumpers / arch liners etc on will get her back together and coated this week as the week after is remap and geo week

some good progress now being made on the car she's pretty much detailed so will post some photos soon of her looking her best also booked her in at RS tuning for a re map and with bro sport for geometry set up

thanks for the warm welcome guys its been a good couple of weeks so far - when i bought her she needing an mot so thats sorted now just looking at doing a few bits to get her ready for track wheels seem to be a major drama theres so little available wanting to source some low mount sliding...

just picked up a 2007 197 mainly to be used as a track car based in Nottinghamshire i'll be hoping to glean some info and avoid a few mistakes plans for now are strip out the interior and install buckets and cage better brake pads with possibly larger front discs coilovers and wheels too...
