I had my 197 custom mapped at RS Tuning in June I would definately recommend it to anyone..car runs 110% better, he does alot of work for K Tec so Id take it there if its closer to home :)

When using the air con/heat on maximum a very high pitched sound seems to be coming from the vents, to me sounds like a bird is stuck in there :huh: Ive had it in for a service and re-gas a couple of months ago. Has anyone had this or even got this problem? At the moment I just dont use it...

I just recently bought mine, as I used to work for the Renault dealer I asked how easy it was to put on, and the honest answer I got was I wouldnt try do it yourself as it involves drilling into the original spoiler then having adhesive applied. I got one of the bodyshop guys to fit it 'out...

Its come to that time now for me to change all the tyres on my 197 F1...anyone got any good recommendations or shall i just stick to the stand conti's?:)

As I left the car with him for a few hours when I came back to test drive the 'new improved' car I noticed a total change in the gear changes, I was told the gearbox was rather lame compared to the new Clio 200 and his words were 'Ive taken a few bits from the gearbox in the new Clio 200 (VVT)...

Mine is currently on 19k for 2008 model.

I was told he took a few bits from the new Clio 200 gearbox (VVT) so my gear changes are alot quicker and smoother... Before the remap the car was 186bhp which he though was rather good for a standard 197...down to my good ownership I think :cloud9: End result ended up being an extra...

Ive just had my 197 remapped at RS Tuning last week...amazing results...now im running on an extra 12bhp also an extremely smooth tuned gearbox

its booked in at RS Tuning for a re-map next Friday
