Yes, operator error here but still weird, if i just do a short press of start button the ignition is on and you can read codes from other modules but not the ECM. Tried and tested, i have to hold the button for around 10s, also the key card has to be into the slot. I don't know if they all like...

After checking all the fuses and checking the obd port pins i found the way, key card into it's slot and hold the start button without any pedal pressed for 10s, it will let you scan the ECM with engine off and erase the codes. Issue resolved.
