Yes one at the dealer and one non dealer. He has just phoned me and says to get my car booked in at renault, get a diagnostics done, if the gearbx is knackard he can then start looking at costings. Im just trying to figure out what would be a fair contribution, looking at other peoples outcomes...

Nice one , cheers for the heads up, just waiting on a phonecall back to see what can be done. What do we think is a reasonable contribution towards a gearbox replacement, from the info i put about my car? I have had one service outside of renault, so dont know if they will hold that against me...

My 4th gear started crunching about a week ago, so as i see on here it seems to be a common issue. I have just phoned renault uk to see what they can do for me as this many cars with the same issue is not right. My car is out of warranty. 2010 plate Done 34k miles. Any advise from anyone...

I managed to get the boot open, theres a little release catch under a see through piece of plastic and just flicked it to the side with a screwdriver and it poped open! I had to climb inside the boot and its where the release locking mechanism is. Also is the keycard meant to pop the boot open...

keycard doesn't work either.

The button underneath the boot door which you use to open the boot has stopped working for some reason. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how to get the boot open? cheers

Im not from inverness, was just up visiting the girlfriend, i used to be based at raf kinloss. I just put those alloys on, look much better than standard one i think.

what were you driving? cup spoiler in black and tips sprayed white, then just had some sparco assetto gara alloys put on. thats about it from the outside lol
