Suspension set up by JCMotorsport, red top varley battery conversion complete and tidy now. Front air vents finally completed and carbon door cards in. And the DNA brace fitted. Not much more to do now.

Ok I added a Race-chips throttle response unit also.

And last but not least the new wheels and semi slicks, which I think are a fist on here in terms of not going for the ‘norms’. I love Rota. I run them on a lot of my cars and I think this finishes the car off.

Another full belt, water pump etc service with a new air con condenser - wow that was a lot of money!

Next up ported polished and painted manifolds, great difference, very pleased.

sorry been a long time posting but have been pretty active on this car. Ok I think after the lights I replaced..the battery with a Varley red top battery and threw away the over engineered battery box. More pics to come after this update.

They have been replaced, they just hadn’t arrived in time and I wanted the car back for a week. Don’t be so quick to judge.

eBay: ultimate components. Really pleased, fanatsatic quality, fit and finish. Brand is DEPO from Taiwan. Even the packaging must be £10/15 for each box! They cost £165 all in.

Oh and I have the KTR induction, great quality and fit.

Totally agree with keeping brakes stock but upgrading pads to Ferodo as above And KTR braided hoses and fluid, see my R27 build thread. i have details on my full system exhaust on there as well. I also put the KTR suspension all round. Have fun.

Next up: those nasty front washed out vents, 50% replaced so far. New wheels and rubber, these will be for sale, rubber nearly new. DNA top brace to be fitted. Manifold porting and remap at Horsham Developments. And a few other things, oh like re-lacing the rubbish plastic splitter type nonsense..

Update: ok some what childish, underglow kit installed, actually pleased with the effect that works on a remote and blue tooth. As many colours as you can think of.

Update: finished exhaust look.

Update: waited a long time to add a new system to complement the new manifold. Sounds great with the KTR induction and a super fit. All new bushes of course.
