The Clio Inlet will only bolt up to the Megane 250 engine. The 225 is a different inlet port shape.

If any of you want a better inlet manifold, the 250 one has the same stud pattern as the 197/200 head and bolts straight on ;) Also, my Megane has a Turbo 197/200 engine in it, not a 225!

Gearbox is different. So are the shafts. 250 front track is 70mm wider (iirc) this could be down to a number of components.

The fuse box behind the headlight has that 25 amp fuse in it. Sometimes the heat shield can move and short out causing that fuse to blow. (had it a number of times) Check that your starter motor heat shield is tight and has plenty of clearance.

Removed both cats, had been mapped by a "tuner" up north. Still had a flatspot (100-200rpm of bouncyness). The best map came from k-tec which i was very impressed with. Sold the car because i had an offer i couldnt refuse! Personally i would decat the whole system, and put a sports cat...

Dont listen to anyone else, get them, try them. If you dont like them sell them and get some money back. Used them on a 400bhp scooby for 5k miles and still had life left (including a couple of track days). However that car was aways strangely kind to its tyres!

Seriously tho, its a track day. Stop being so competitive. And the meg engine was standard apart from the exhaust. Other than that i really CBA to argue with you. I think we should try and keep this on topic. So yes you will most likely get spanked if he knows how to boot it! Just have fun...
