Thanks for all the replies. Yes bought from new - still under warranty for a month! I think the best thing for me to do is take some pics. Does look like wear and tear, but, totally if there was protective film there or designed differently.

Cleaning the car yesterday I noticed that the paint has started to come off on the side skirts where they tuck into the rear arches. Where the arch lining meets the skirt if that makes any sense. Its only very minor but would of thought it isn't usual 'wear and tear'. Has anyone else had this...

Can you only here this at idle or does it do it all the time? Also, does it get worse when the fan is on and you turn it off?

Are the Conti 5's really that much better? I'm struggling to justify the £100 odd more they are going to cost over the V12's. These are purely for general road driving, no track days etc.

Having owned both a Trophy and now a cupped pack 200, I'd say that the 200 was much was harsher.
