Hi from Oz

Thats ready for battle... That downpipe is awesome , I'd have it ceramic coated for better heat insulation, a good solution if you plan on keeping the car for a track machine.

BTW, you guys have somebody out that way that does ceramic coating on motor parts? If not you could send it to SA as we have several who specialise in this. Beats just slapping on heat wraps.

Yes i had the headers on my STI cerami-coated by HPI in Melbourne, good result.
I don't like heatwrap, seen a few cases where the wrap retains moisture & corrodes the pipe from the inside out over time, nasty stuff if not maintained.

So much love for the colour scheme of this car.
Cheers for that. Painting the roof pillar rails white & rear wing white made an improvement I think.
I'll try to get a couple of pics up with the other sets of wheels on it soon.

Wagner intercooler arrived today, it should help alleviate concerns with the higher boost I'm now running. Ive also made up an intercooler spray to fit however this may not be necessary hopefully.

Tried the new map out on track today, very impressive performance, however the launch control setting of 4000rpm is too high imo for use with semi slicks (I find 3000-3500rpm is ideal with semi slicks). 4000rpm may be better suited more to full slicks i'd say.
It sure does make your launch & 1st sector times very consistent though which is nice.

Steve, none of your older pics work and I'm particularly interested in some of them, like post 43 showing pics of the rear tow strap, 44 with the door pulls, oil catch can in 68, and others....

Have the photos been deleted, or have you switched to another hosting provider?

Any way to republish them please?

Hi,
Sorry but all my pics were lost when the forum changed. Ive had several members ask me to fix them & i tried asking the mods to fix it (someone fixed a few pics so it can be rectified). I'd like some of the Clio pics myself as I don't have copies anymore.
Try asking one of the moderators or admins for help.
There is a forum on here for site problems such as this... http://www.clio197.net/threads/new-forum-bugs-issues-thread.53678/page-5#post-621385

I put up my door pull install pics in the How To thread - http://www.clio197.net/threads/door-pull-armrest-modification-job-done.32865/page-2 Can't help with the rest though

Got some track time with the intercooler, downpipe & remap in place:grinning:.
The top end hasn't improved much but the bottom end & mid range are brilliant. Throttle response is good too.
Will try to get a clip up soon for those interested, not sure if it's throwing flame like the Clio but it sounds pretty good.
