Can people who've got experience of either / both give me some head to head thoughts on:

1. Ultimate stopping power.

2. Warm-up time.....

3. Longevity.

4. Dust !!!

***Road only....will be used with Brembo high carbon discs.

Cheers.

DS2500, had them on for a couple of thousand miles with Brembo hc discs. Work well from cold, fine on road & worked nicely at Spa track day. Longevity & dust, too early to comment.

have had both on..great both but if you want more stopping power on track days..the F2500 is the way to go..

yes hel braided lines..never noticed any diff but that doenst mean they are useless..probably they work behind the scenes without me even noticing..
the m1144 are great from cold..good stopping power but dust as hell..even did a track day with them on..faded after about 6 laps pushing hard..
the F2500 can be abused more and will not fade until you run out of petrol  also they dont dust as much i've noticed..they work well from cold too

I have the M1144, which I put in as replacements for OEM. Can't compare to any other aftermarket/high performance pads though.

1. Always very happy with the stopping power, definite noticeable improvement over OEM (with MTEC discs, like Pav). Only road use, no track time.

2. Great from cold

3. Excellent, done a lot of miles with them on, still plenty of life left in them.

4. They do dust, but no more or less than Clio OEM, or indeed for pads I've had on other cars.

DS2500 pads with Brembo HC discs

1. Excellent upgrade over standard. Much more initial bite and I've never had them fade on track(yet)

2. I'd guess at about 70-80% of stopping power straight from cold

3. I've done 5000 miles and 5 track days and still plenty left on fronts. Rears hardly used!

4. Dust on fronts is a royal pain in ass. Can't compare it with other performance pads though.

Would be a brilliant road upgrade IMO.
Think you clean wheels every day so no drama there with dust:wink:

Im really surprised you cant notice the braided lines.

I've never fitted them in a car - but have done on many-many motorbikes and the feel and firmness of the brake lever is transformed on any bike.....

@ Just LOL on "no-fade until you run out of petrol". Classic Pav !!

I was running M1144's with Brembo HC's and Hel braided lines, great stopping power over standard and I found them quite progressive too, easy to modulate, but as mentioned dusty as hell and prone to squeaking around town or when cold.
