Recaros....

So thinking of getting me some Recaros in the near future, just wondering if anyone knows how much a good set of standard front 197 seats fetch on ebay or the like? Just wondering how much of the cost I can recoup - coz them seats don't come cheap ha!

Also, been thinking of calling around garages with 197's up for sale with Recaros and offering them cash and my seats for the Recaros and swapping them! Living in dream land? Recaros surely can't raise the value of a Clio by more than £500...

If I where you I would keep the standard seats and buy Recaros. At least the Recaros will always have a resale value of £800+

That's true, never really thought of it like that! But at the same time if I can get a couple hundred quid back for the standards and then get 4/500 more when selling the car with Recaros sat in it, can't be that bad! Just wondered if anyone had sold some recently and could give me an idea

A set of megane leather recaro's went for £880 yesterday, total bargain!

Recaros on ebay went on friday for 1385+100 postage, and the passenger bolsters had gone. Some crazy people around.

Really? Haha you can buy brand new ones off eBay for like 1800quid. Leather trimmed as well.
