197 information

Hello all, new to the forum and I have searched around on here and the net a fair bit before posting but I was wondering if you lot can help me with a few questions;

- was the R27 available in Ultra Red or the other red (forgot the name sorry)?

- Am i right in thinking the R27 comes with the cup chassis and recaro seats but not brembos and cup spoiler?

- If no to the above is it only full fat 197s which you can get brembos, recaros, cup spoiler, cup packs etc?

All 197's have brembos.

R27 had recaros, cup pack, and decals. The only red is ultra red. Cup spoiler was an option, its not standard on any 197's.

not all 197s had the red Brembo fancy pants calliper though! the grey brakes are still Brembos

For the red calliper you require either a cup, cup pack or R27 from memory.

THe R27 comes with these as base spec

Recaros
Cup chassis / susp
Anthricite Wheels
Red Brembo Calipers
Plaque.

The best options:
Zenons
Climate
Electric Folding Mirrors.

On the last R27's you could choose to Spec the AERO kit-
Cup Spoiler
Side Sills
Cup Spiltter

Very few with this full list though-- lots of retro fitted spoilers & splitters.

There was a couple of other small options but not really worth it.


A FF 197 is a standard 197 specced with all the R27 Options-
Recaros, Cup chassis - wheels & brakes etc, & so on.

Dont confuse a 197 cup with a FF 197.
