Rear brake Bias..

Well after finally putting it off (read being lazy) I've just had a look at my handbrake. I've been able to pull it to near vertical since the bad weather earlier in the year.

On looking at the handbrake cable in the cabin, one of the cables had jumped out of the connector, so the handbrake was only engaging the left hand side. Now its all connected back up my handbrake is sticking again but only on the drivers side. (You can hear and feel the handbrake engaged on the drivers side when to attempt to pull off)

Where do i adjust the rear brake bias (Can this even be done and then by a car DIY noob?)
My car is due its MOT on the 13th of next month so I just need to get it through that and I can then treat it to new pads/discs in the new year.

first off....

service the rear brakes - make sure the pads are removed and all the dirt/muck is removed etc and the pivot points lubricated and rebuild etc!

press the brake pedal hard several times - this makes sure the rear adjusters have fully taken up any adjustment - make sure that the handbrake arms on the calipers are in thier fully rearward position - if not then either the handbrake cable is over adjusted or the lever is not free enough

then check handbrake operation...

adjustment is made by removing screws at the rear of the centre console and lifting it up so you can get to the handbrake cable adjuster - you should aim for 3-8 clicks for fully on!

Cheers Foxspeed. If I'm going to strip/clean the rear brakes it'd be rude not to replace the rear pads.
Would anyone know if these will fit?
