First 1000km <3000rpm but acceleration with 30% throttle

Than every 250km 1000rpm+

1250km = 4000rpm
1500km = 5000rpm
1750km = 6000rpm
2000km = 7000rpm

First oil change @ 5000km (Motul 300V 5W40)
Second oil change @ 10 000km (Motul 300V 5W40)
Third oil change @ 20 000km (Motul 300V 5W40)
Fourth oil change @ 30 000km (Motul 300V 5W40) - due this weekend.

similar to myself raptor, hopefully I have a strong engine too (even if mine is standard)

0-100 miles = 3000rpm
0-200 miles = 4000rpm
0-300 miles = 5000rpm

.....

That pollen filter is filthy, mine was just the same though at my first service on 7500 miles, I blame the diesels.

Your lightweight flywheel is probably the best mod you've done so far imo it's got more to do with the engine spinning faster than exhausts etc. Thats until you had your cams fitted.

I haven't fealt the flywheel as much as I did the airbox. It brought me much more than the flywheel. IMHO.

Will post dyno results when I do the remap.

have you remap after your catcams?

i hope to fit the new airbox in this week..

No, still no remap - a friend of mine broke my "tuners" wide band probe so I can't remap the car untill he gets a new one, and 18.02 I'm in Warwick and then in London.


IMHO, in the first week of March I should remap the car...PROBABLY ! :'(

hi rap! i fit the airbox one of these evening but i don't remap because.....

sunday i start some work to the engine... a little mod of the head engine and review cams.. after these i go to remap!:thumbup1::tongue_smilie:
 
what do you think about doing some X-pipe on your exhaust sistem? I saw some movies on yt and I was impressed how the sound changes with the X-pipe. they say the performance is also better!:thumbup:

For any performance exhaust system, some type of crossover connecting the two sides of a dual exhaust system is important because it acts to balance the two banks of the engine.
The common H-style crossover is good at balancing sound pulses between the two halves, but does little to promote scavenging because the exhaust gases tend to follow the path of least resistance, which is straight through each pipe rather than taking the 90-degree turn through the H-pipe into the other half of the system. In an X-pipe system, however, where the two sides of the system intersect, the gasses have no choice but to intermingle as they pass through the junction. This promotes improved scavenging effects by smoothing out uneven exhaust pulses from the engine’s firing order. It also helps quiet down the exhaust, resulting in a mellower, less raspy tone. According to Magnaflow, the faster acceleration of the gasses through an X-pipe causes them to flow in a linear fashion parallel to the walls of the tubing rather than tumbling. This “laminar” flowing gas is much quieter than tumbling gas, resulting in an exhaust tone up to 8 decibels quieter than a traditional H-pipe.

You say "engine banks" while our engine only has 1

A bank is an individual cylinder block, so a V8 will have 2, and such i understand this sort of thing working on a large capacity V engine...

I dont think there will be any significant gain on a small 4pot engine, also your potentially included more pipework and therefore extra weight... unless its Titanium... in which case you need to stop mucking about with Clios lol

yes i know, i just wanted to know if there is possible to do something like this on clio. there is no need on V8, V6 is just fine :smiley:

M3 e92 has some impressive sound with the x-pipe installed.
