inlets matching opinions

Hey my 200 is running a de cat ktec system and for the induction I am currently running a big 200mm green cotton air filter setup with two cold air feeds, and will be expecting a ported throttle body from ben f1 any day now. I was planning sourcing a ported inlet manifold if anyone had one for sale but I just wondered what everyones opinions on what I should do as I want to get the mapping sorted after this is done ( if there is any point in getting it done)

Did you feel any noticable gains raptor? Or is it one of those things that make the car run worse until its mapped?

i had mine done and mapped, when on the roller premap matt at tdf said he could see good gains in the mid range area due to the matching, also gained about 1bhp peak.

bet it sounds good when you boot it:thumbup:you say you have two cold air feeds, have you run them from the bottom grill?

Hey smoggy, yeh it sounds mental up the revs! I am running the standard one which goes to the left front and the other goes down past light with the trumpet opened, there's a really cool whistle noise from it up at 6k, it must be sooking like mad!

Wouw good results mate, I will need to get a photo up of my set up this weekend. Probably get slated for having an open set up but I think its meatyer than my itg panel although it might just be souind that's making me think so

got any pics of this mate? ever thought about removing the passenger side fog light and running a neoprene hose from there up behind the headlight and straight to yr filter, think that would work a treat

I think by removing the arch liner and having a good look could open a whoile lot of options, its just getting the weather to do it at the minute!
