Yellow Connector Plug Hidden Below Heater Controls?

Hey guys, I'm a brand new member to 197.net and was looking for a bit of advice. I have the standard sterio system in my '07 197 and was looking to get an iPhone Connector for it. (I use an FM Transmitter for it just now and its getting really annoying) However I came across a little hidden section below the heater controls which has a silver cover on it (above the 2 cup holders theres a little hole to put your finger in and you can pull it out).

If you pull this out behind it is a Yellow Regtangular Connector and I was wondering what this was , is it an Auxilliary Plug? or a Renault Diagnostics Plug in another strange place :huh:.

If someone could shed some light on this that would be fantastic cheers

Its the ODB2 port.

I have got one of these, cheapest and easiest way of adding an aux input. Plays anything as long as is has got a 3.5mm phone jack. Sound quality is as good as cd (providing the player you are using is good too)!
