my first and second go at launch control, road was a little damp, interesting the 0-31 times are the same.

Thats very impressive and tempting...6.2 is also very good but I do wonder how accurate the R.S monitor is. The majority of cars usually do it in 6.5 to 6.8
 
I think most of these devices seem to be set to flatter.

Though the difference between stock and mapped look pretty good.

Be interested to hear what map was applied.
 
But at the end of the day its the in gear performance which impress the most. I've noticed that the standard car tends to feel a little flat at times when they are new, but improve quite a bit after a few 1000 miles

I went for superchips Bluefin, like the idea you can remove it etc.
Not done a lot of miles yet, so still testing it really.
Very easy to do, had to download a new map though, to the Bluefin (hopefully the issues stated on here (sorry can't remember who) for early map have been ironed out time will tell)
Does seem to pull better now (well it will, with +70nm I suppose) when you have two passengers in, as before it was a little sluggish and ran out of steam.
(again I did come from a 225 with rs tuning remap)

Would be interesting to see if you have any issues with the gearbox. I've come from an mp260 focus st so do miss a bit of the grunt lol.

spoke to soon.............

first time I really beaned it on the motorway tonight.
got fault 'check injection system' showing with orange spanner. taken map of now, still showing fault.
I suppose a trip to Renault to sort!
Is it a fault with the car the the map has 'found' or the map (need to contact superchips and see how they can fix map or get money back.


any ideas what it could be

Ive had this as well, just connect it to a fault reader and get it switched off, its because the re map causes a conflict with the traction control somehow, nothing to do with the injection system. This is why ive not had my white car mapped as yet.
 
Not the first I've heard of issues with remapping - particularly that not done at RST... is what puts me off, I'd want mine done up in Leeds but it's a 4 hour drive away if any issues.

ok thanks for that, its booked in with Renault Monday for them to look at. (with remap off of course)
yeah no other problems, no limp mode etc.
I must a mit I was giving it some accelerating onto a motorway at the time! but of course it should not come on.
have emailed superchips waiting for a reply and hopefully a fix, if no fix then they can have it back, not fit for purpose...
