Window switches-- should these light up ???

Had my rs 200 for 3 months now , and while driving the other night
Noticed that the window switch drivers side and passenger also mirror adjuster switch do not light up .

So can some one please let me know if they should because I don't Rembember them ever being back lit , I know that sound stupid just never noticed

haha yes think giles is right and only the 197 switches light up i remember the thread from before

It seems that some 200s do have illuminated window switches.

Remembered this thread while driving the other night, had a glance...and mine were lit up.

2009 registered...is mine unique LOL?

Same thing with the 197, early ones had lights above the sun visors and later ones didn't.

Sorry to dig this up again, I soldered my window switchs in my clio so that they now light up as they where begining to bother me. Does anyone know if the mirror switch has a simmilar mod that can be done so it lights up? Do they even light up in any model?

Its daft that renault dont just have them light up right off the factory line it only took 30 seconds once they are out of the car.
