I see this figure all the time while driving out of town. I usually sit at 39.9mpg.

Around down it drops big time! Or just generally when i decide to push the right peddle!

Lol this was the hardest bit! Driving 'properly' after spending nearly a week in 6th gear to get those figures makes it seem so much faster now

My mpg improved.... When I removed the engine and put the megane lump in!

Will increase further once the megane gearbox goes on in a few weeks!!!

Good effort tho.

Mine did just under 35 on a run to York (70 mile) with cruise set at 73mph. I'm on 24.2mpg at the min which is pretty normal for me. The 182 was lots better on fuel.

Getting around the 25 mark usually, although playing 'nice' i get about 29-32 if i'm lucky. The worst thing is driving nicely to get the mpg up for like two weeks, and it can be brought back down in 15 minutes , nature of the beast I guess .

I heard somewhere that cruise can reduce the mpg, try 60 with just your right foot might be a few mpg better?

I have to be honest i often sit at 60 on mway to make up for the times that the pedal is on the carpet!
